Educators have several important responsibilities when it comes to managing children’s growth and development along with classroom management. In addition, you may also manage and operate the program. Regardless of the modality, training and coaching goes a long way in creating an effective early childhood workforce. Here are some ways we can foster our relationship:

Communication

Maintain an open and effective dialog with WECES. Share important information in regard to available or personal issues pertaining to upcoming events such as trainings, coaching or consulting appointments.

Emergency Contact Information

In case of an emergency and should you miss a training, or coaching session or consulting appointment, please contact WECES at your earliest convenience so that some arrangements can be made for the missed session when possible.

Behavior and Discipline

Work with the childcare provider or center to maintain consistent discipline and behavior expectations. Be receptive to feedback.
